JERC-JKL Recruitment Notification 2023: The Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh (JERC-JKL) has invited applications in the prescribed proforma to engage Individual Consultant for assisting the Commission in discharging its functions under Electricity Act 2003 and the Regulations made there under.

Salary Rs. 74,000/-
Eligibility Criteria for JERC-JKL Recruitment 2023:
Educational Qualification:
The candidate must be B.E/ B.Tech. in Electrical discipline.

Experience & Other Details:

The candidate must have at least 05 years of working experience in Regulatory affairs of power sectors.

The engagement is from amongst persons having experience and working knowledge of dealing with
Generation, Transmission, and distribution of electricity. Those candidates having prior experience of
working in Electricity Regulatory Commissions shall be given preference.

Age Limit:
Candidates within the age limit of 62 years as on 1st January 2023 shall be eligible to apply. No extension shall be given to the consultant after attaining the age of 65 years.

The closing date for receipt of applications is 20-02-2023 (up to 5:00 pm).

The vacancy will be engaged as per the following terms and conditions:
– Shall be appointed initially for a period of two years,
– Extension may be given for one year subject to the condition that the maximum period of Continuous appointment of consultant in no case shall exceed four years, subject to the satisfactory performance of the consultant.
