Ganderbal police seized four tippers & arrested four persons for illegal extraction of minor minerals in the jurisdiction of PS LAR
GANDERBAL:A stringent action has been taken by Ganderbal Police in the jurisdiction of Police Station Lar against Four Persons namely:
01. Javid Ahmad Rather S/O Mohd Maqbool Rather R/O Khurhama
02. Farooq Ahmad Bhat S/O Gh Nabi Bhat R/O Safapora
03. Mohd Shafi Bhat S/O Gh Mohi-ud-Din Bhat R/O Yangoora
04. Gh Mohi-ud-din Parra S/O Ab Jabbar Parra R/O Sumbal
The above persons were indulging in illegal extraction of Minor Minerals i.e Boulders/Bajri and further unauthorised transportation within the District.
On the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS, a Special Police team headed by SHO Police Station Lar Smt. Ruksana-JKPS (Dy.SP Probationary) under the supervision of Dy.SP Hqr’s Ganderbal Shri Gh Hassan-JKPS seized Four tippers bearing regd. No.s:
1. JK15-2447
2. JK04B-3493
3. JK01H-6773
4. JK16A-6930
The persons were arrested & the tippers loaded with illegal minor minerals, extracted from Nulla Sindh Seized at Watalbagh Lar.
In this regard, Case FIR No.18/2023, U/S 379 IPC, 21 MMRD Act stands registered at Police Station Lar and further investigation has been taken up.
