PG degrees obtained by RRTs through distance mode in science not valid for seniority, promotion purposes: Officials
Srinagar, Jan 05 (KNO): The School Education Department has said that Post Graduate degrees obtained through distance mode in Science Stream would not be considered valid for seniority and promotion purposes.
The official documents available with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said this while listening to the application of a RRT teacher seeking permission for pursuing PG in Environmental Science through IGNOU via distance mode.
“In this context, it is to inform that the Administrative Department has conveyed that the degrees obtained through distance mode in Science Stream (Environmental Science) cannot be considered valid for the purposes of seniority and promotion,” reads the document—(KNO)
