India Post GDS Recruitment 2023: There is a great opportunity for 10th pass candidates to get a government job. Indian Postal Department (India Post) has sought applications for more than 40 thousand vacancies for Gramin Dak Sevak posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of India Post, indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

Apply by February 16

According to the India Post GDS Job (GDS Recruitment) Notification 2023, a total of 40,889 vacancies will be filled on the posts of Branch Post Master (BPM) Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM) in India Post. Online applications have started from 27 January. Eligible candidates can apply till 16 February 2023.

Who can apply?

For India Post GDS Recruitment, candidates should have studied Mathematics and English subject in class 10th (matriculation) from a recognized board. The age limit of the candidates should be minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years. However, reserved category candidates will get relaxation in upper age limit as per government norms.

Application fee

Candidates have to pay Rs.100 as application fee. However, all women/trans-women candidates and all SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of fee.

Selection Process

There will be no written test for the applicants for recruitment to GDS posts. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in 10th class. In case of mark sheet containing grades/marks, the marks will be calculated by multiplying the grades and marks with a multiplication factor (9.5) as the maximum number of marks or grades as 100.
